Riskley.com (“Riskley”) is operated by Springer Insurance (“Springer,” “we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use Riskley or request an insurance proposal. Riskley is offered for addresses in Virginia, North Carolina, and Texas.
1. Information we collect
- Contact & identity: name, email, phone, date of birth (if provided).
- Property & address: street address, city, state, ZIP, place identifiers, and property details you confirm or we look up to prepare a home or landlord quote.
- Coverage choices: products you add to your proposal and optional details such as drivers, vehicles, notes, and uploaded declaration pages.
- Quote status: proposal progress, quote number, and related agent follow-up information.
- Technical & usage: IP address (may be stored hashed for analytics), browser type, device info, pages/screens viewed, and approximate interaction events that help us understand how Riskley is used.
- Cookies & similar tools: we use cookies/local storage to keep your draft and quote session, and Google Analytics to measure site visits. We do not use cookies as an EU-style consent gate; this notice is our disclosure.
2. Quote request authorization
When you request a quote and check that you agree to the quote terms, you give Springer the insurance authorization shown in the Riskley terms agreement. That permission is separate from this Privacy Policy and controls how we obtain and use information to quote and service coverage.
Quote terms & consumer report authorization
By submitting this form, I authorize Springer Insurance, its insurance-company partners, and their insurance-support organizations to obtain and use information necessary to prepare, evaluate, issue, service, and renew insurance coverage. This may include claims and loss history, motor vehicle records, prior insurance information, property and vehicle records, public-record information, consumer reports, and credit information or a credit-based insurance score where permitted by law.
Springer Insurance may submit my information to one or more insurance companies to obtain and compare quotes. A third party may be used to obtain consumer information or develop an insurance score. Submission of this form does not bind or guarantee coverage.
I may have rights to review certain personal information and request correction of inaccurate information. If information in a consumer report or credit information results in an adverse insurance decision, I will receive any notice required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how Riskley and Springer Insurance handle personal information outside this insurance authorization.
3. How we use information
- Build and manage your Riskley proposal and status page.
- Verify property details and prepare quotes with carriers and support vendors (for example property-data providers).
- Contact you by email, text, or phone about your request, using the channel you prefer when provided.
- Operate, secure, and improve Riskley, including analytics and troubleshooting.
- Comply with insurance, consumer-report, and other legal requirements.
4. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- Insurance companies and support organizations as described in your quote authorization.
- Service providers that help us run Riskley (hosting, email/SMS, maps/address lookup, property data, analytics).
- Springer staff and assigned agents who work your quote.
- Others when required by law, to protect rights/safety, or as part of a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information for money. If we ever process personal data for targeted advertising or a “sale” as defined under Virginia or Texas privacy law, we will disclose that and provide a way to opt out.
5. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live (including Virginia and Texas privacy laws that may apply), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You can also limit some cookies in your browser; blocking required cookies may stop Riskley from remembering your quote progress.
To make a privacy request, email webmail@springeremail.com or call (804) 739-9500. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision email and asking for an appeal.
6. Sensitive information & children
We only collect sensitive personal information when needed for quoting (for example driver’s license or similar details you choose to provide) and as authorized for insurance purposes. Riskley is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online.
7. Retention & security
We keep quote and related records as needed to service requests, meet insurance and legal retention rules, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we handle.

9. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of Riskley after an update means the revised policy applies to later use of the site.
